Chain-link Fence Filter

Here is today's CN transfer returning south on the Burrard Inlet Line in East Vancouver. I shot this through the chain link fence of a pedestrian overpass, using a Russian Industar 50mm pancake lens and a Canon adaptor. It's not a good lens: low contrast in the center, poor resolution in the corners--but with a little tweaking the photos look pretty good.

Not too bad at all, with your added tweaks. For your part, interesting content and nicely composed. I enjoy lines in unexpected places like that. Has an interurban-like feel, a bit incongruous with the big GE leading.

If you didn't know about the lens' origin, the Cyrillic characters might catch you off guard for a few seconds: it seems to say, "Whatchamacallit". Indeed!
