Canadian Railroads > BNSF Western Canadian Detours ContinueDate: 03/16/17 00:06 BNSF Western Canadian Detours Continue Author: LKeithR The road I drive to and from work parallels the CN main for a few miles east of Fort Langley and tonight on my
way home I passed a westbound BNSF grain train with two CN engines and two BNSF units. Anyone have any idea how much longer the detours will continue? Is BN still having issues through Montana and Idaho? The last eastbound ran last week, while its westbound counterpart sat in Dauphin MB for 5 days account winter weather conditions and congestion (go figure!).

What's also ironic is that, of all the detours, I've managed to see two--one eastbound and one westbound--and in both cases I was driving in the opposite direction and had no opportunity to get a picture (or even note the engine numbers)...
