22 years apart
Author: Mberry

GE locomotives built 22 years apart (ET44AC CN 3068 built in 2016 and Dash9-44CWL CN 2505 built in 1994) lead Joffre Yard-Taschereau Yard CN 401 towards Turcot West, with autoracks at the head end as always (with Mercdes-Benz's from Europe). In the background along the banks of the Lachine Canal is the Lasalle Coke crane, which was used to bring coal from boats to the LaSalle Coke factory. Taken yesterday evening in Montreal, at the end of a 100% sunny weekend, for once!

Interesting where the snow melted and didn't melt.

2934 and 2515 were paired on a westbound Prince Rupert train this afternoon.

I can't believe the snow is almost gone. When I left last week it was during the big snowstorm

There's still quite a bit on side streets and on lawns - snowblowing on my street took place early this morning!
