MLW Mondays-An Arnaud Quartet
Author: arwye

We are at Mile Post 1, located in Point Noire Quebec, on the Arnaud Railway, serving as the bottom connector in a three railroad operation for Wabush Mines at Labrador City Newfoundland. Ready to depart are RS18's 905-902-906 & 901 on June 10, 1994. This train will be turned over to the Quebec North Shore and Labrador for final delivery to the Wabush Railroad. Richard Yaremko

That's some pretty off the beaten path railfanning, interesting to see the paint scheme and the style of power. Any photos of the barrel ore cars?
Thanks for posting, great stuff.

The tank cars seem to go on forever.

Not sure they are tank cars Bob. As this RR transports ore, I am fairly sure that these are ore carrying cars.

That's an interesting tank car to the extreme left.

The train is handling ore cars, with covers. At the loading facility, there is a device which lifts the hinged cover.
