VIA has wrapped so many P42's that they are common now rather than rare. Here's 904 on train 65 this morning at Pointe-Claire.

It's corporate graffiti! While legal, it usually is less artful. We don't need rolling billboards.

One of those locos would sure look good with words like "Regina", "Calgary", "Banff" or "Revelstoke" on it.

Since Rocky Mountaineer dropped the route from Calgary to Banff, I wish they would be open to a VIA train from Winnipeg to Lake Louise, potentially using the "Hudson Bay Train's" equipment pool that would likely have to be expanded a little as it would require an overnight, meaning sleepers.

That's a really good idea--I'd love to be able to take the "excursion route!" But VIA doesn't seem to be in a position to want to expand train service (unless we're talking the corridor).
