MLW Monday M-636 pair 1973
Author: kgmontreal

In this photo from the fall of 1973 a pair of CP Rail M-636 units pull up St Lazare Hill west of Montreal on the Winchester subdivision. Behind the power is an ice reefer and behind that a string of 20' import container boxes.

The power of the MLW's contrasts with the delicacy of the clouds.

My life could use a bit more poetry. I appreciated Bob's comment.

I don't suppose that you wasted any Kodachrome on those freight cars and containers did you?
