Canadian Railroads > F-Unit Friday - CN SD60Fs at Beiseker, AB

We can quibble about these being F units, but given that they are recently retired, I thought I'd run with it. On August 22, 1997, we (the family) were returning to Edmonton from seeing the dinner theatre at Rosebud. On the way through Beiseker, crossing the CN line, I did my usual and peered longingly down the tracks, when to my astonishment I saw approaching lights. So I parked at the town park right next to the tracks, hiked through the thistles in shorts (why I always wear long pants when railfanning) in time to catch this NB at 1209, with 88 cars of mixed freight behind 5529 and 5520. Not scanning at the time, I'm guessing this is #443, or possibly #445 (we used to get 442 and 444 SB out of Edmonton most mornings at the time).
