Canadian Railroads > Hazardous Commodities and Windmill TowersDate: 09/13/17 14:12 Hazardous Commodities and Windmill Towers Author: kgmontreal This afternoon CN launched two freights west from Montreal to Toronto. The first was 377 a train of largely hazardous commodities from the refineries in east end Montreal. It got an ex-CNW standard cab Dash 8-41C as its leader. Following it was X339 a train of windmill towers from Quebec City. It got an ex-ATSF gullwing cab Dash 8-40C(W) as its sole motive power.
These windmill towers used to be handled by CP. But since EHH and Creel they ae now moved by CN. Ken Goslett Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 09/13/17 14:20 by kgmontreal. The tower sections are made by a different company near Trois Rivieres. KG Date: 09/14/17 07:30 Re: Hazardous Commodities and Windmill Towers Author: bobk Nice shots!
