Yesterday in Squamish, the West Coast Ry Museum needed to move some equipment around, putting their Alco S6 to work. Here it is moving one of their F-units out of the shops...

To put the F-unit back into the shops where they wanted it, they needed to drag PGE #2 out and haul it to the museum grounds nearby.

The little 2-6-2 is dwarfed by an Alco switcher.

Our belove 'Squamish Gang' of retired BC Rail employees living in the area spent 10,800 hours restoring #2 to her now pristine condition (not operable but we can blow the whistle and ring the bell for special events).
