MLW Monday CP Smiths Falls, ON

During my trip to Montreal and eastern Ontario a quick stop at Smiths Falls yielded several MLW's as well as a set of SD40's on an eastbound. All images were taken on October 6, 1987.
The LRC was train #44 according to my notes.

Indeed the LRC is #44, Toronto to Ottawa mid-afternoon. The long-hood forward 1823 looks like a Brockville Turn; do you recall or do your notes say it worked its way down there after #44 cleared?
