Canadian Railroads > Victoria Bridge - St Lambert DiversionDate: 09/24/17 03:45 Victoria Bridge - St Lambert Diversion Author: JPB A poster reported 7 weeks back that Google Maps aerial photo showed a lengthy CN 120 train to Halifax on the Victoria Bridge. Zooming out shows the train stretching from Southwark across the St Lambert Diversion bridge with EOT at approximately the middle of Victoria Bridge (looks like a fun bridge to drive on!). My question is I don't see any ships in or near the St Lambert lock so why was 120 given the Diversion routing?
Note: to see the train, after clicking on the link below, go to the menu and click on "3D on" to turn off the 3D imagery to get the latest view. I've also attached a jpeg capture of the view of the train on St Lambert Diversion bridge. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Victoria+Bridge,+Quebec,+Canada/@45.4957995,-73.5174221,1288m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x4cc91ac05667ecb3:0x969c1206a23a0581!8m2!3d45.4946365!4d-73.5181207 Edited 2 time(s).
