I would pay good money for one of the "British Columbia Railway", "Pacific Great Eastern" or "BC Rail" from one of the Chip hoppers, gondola's, over/underpass, or yard signs!!!! I've even got a Kijiji ad for one. :)

This was at mile 349, mile or so north of Macalister siding on the BC Rail Prince George subdivision. There was a road well above the tracks, culvert was plugged by a beaver, the Department of Highways decided to use some dynamite to open up the culvert. A slight miscalculation of the amount of explosive needed ended in blasting a huge hole in the beaver dam. The water ran down the hill, overwhelmed the culvert under the railway roadbed and washed out the tracks. The north bound WP switcher encountered the wash out, the locomotives and a few cars made it over the softened track, a bunch did not make it across. Fortunately there were no injuries and no hazardous commodities involved. Doug Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 10/13/17 04:47 by hoggerdoug.
