Canadian Railroads > Consolation Prize

CP train 244 arrived in Toronto around 03:30 this morning with BNSF #5078 and #747 in the consist. Thinking these units might head back west today, I spent a cold windy afternoon hanging around Spadina Road on the North Toronto Sub. I was half right as #5078 was the third unit on a short westbound autorack train that passed by around 15:15, but no luck with the Warbonnet I was looking for. I was, however, rewarded with a consolation prize as SOO #4429 appeared 30 minutes later on a short transfer run between Toronto yard and West Toronto. At least I didn't freeze my fingers for nothing.
