Canadian Railroads > CP west bound Potash train, three different lettering schemes.Date: 02/15/18 12:07 CP west bound Potash train, three different lettering schemes. Author: ACL3042 Canadian Pacific west bound potash train through Morse, Saskatchewan. This were taken January 2007.
I stopped at Morse so I could shot the grain elevators. As, I was getting my shots, I heard the crossing bells start ringing. I new that I could not get into a place so I could shoot the train head-on. I stopped in my tracks. The train had three different lettering schemes on the units. I was set up as a 1 X 2. The DPU were cut into the train. The head unit was the 8785. It appeared that it was a new unit. I am glad that I took this shot. The DPU units were 9566 and 9655. The 9566 has the two flags on it. The 9655 was the Golden Beaver scheme. I was heading towards Moose Jaw. I would see four other trains between Morse and Moose Jaw. Hope you enjoy looking back in time! Gary |
