Canadian Railroads > Both detoursDate: 02/18/18 14:05 Both detours Author: Mberry Today I was lucky enough to be able to photograph both the inbound and the outbound St. Lawrence & Atlantic Railroad detours in Montreal in great light and without having to wait very long.
1-With five orange SLR units for power (SLR 3004, SLR 3804, SLR 804, SLR 805 & SLR 3805), detour train SLR 393 is crossing the St. Lawrence River on CP's bridge linking Montreal with the South Shore. 2&3-The same power, still in the same order leads SLR 394 towards and past the Gare Du Canal Station in Lachine, opened by the AMT a bit over a year ago on the Candiac line. Bridge washed out in Bromptonville, QC mid-January. SLR (ex-GT) trains access CMQ (ex-CP) at Sherbrooke/Lennoxville. https://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?15,4467436,4467436#msg-4467436 Date: 02/19/18 13:27 Re: Both detours Author: bmarti7 tres bonne!
