MLW Monday - Lac St Jean
Author: kgmontreal

In this photo from the spring of 1973 a pair of MLW RS-18 units are westbound around the shore of Lac St Jean. Note that the first unit rides on the MLW lightweight trucks while the second has the conventional AAR Type-B trucks.

I'm not sure why, but I never liked the GP9 running long-hood forward. The RS-18 is another story, especially banking into a curve, with the red hit of colour on the CN noodle scheme. Beautiful!
