Laggan Sub - Mar 13

I got some positive feedback on Mar 9 for the wide shot from Tunnel Mtn Road. So here's another westbound potash from a little bit different spot -

Great images...great locations.

Banff looking east - a personal favourite.

Here is CP8647 West on March 9 around 0930

A lot of snow still on the ground.

What are the odds of doing some snowmobiling in the area in about 30 days?

Zero. It ain't allowed anywhere around here. You have to go at least past Yoho to find a place where it is allowed. Not sure if it's still allowed off Beaverfoot Road.

The snow is going fast but we do have snow or rain in the forecast for the next 4 days.

I meant with one of the local outfitters. I would have to rent one from them and use their trails.
I was just wondering how likely the trails are to still have snow to run on the 2nd week in April?

Sorry, still zero.

There is no snowmobiling in Banff National Park or Yoho National Park, guided or not. Canmore and Exshaw are surrounded by Provincial Parks. Same story, no snowmobiling allowed, guided or not.

The tour outfits that do offer it will put you on a bus and take you to Golden where they are based. What is allowed around here but still not in the National Parks is dogsledding. There's at least a couple of dogsled outfits in Canmore.
