Canadian Railroads > Rocky Mountaineer Banff-Vancouver train, Kamloops BCDate: 05/24/18 19:44 Rocky Mountaineer Banff-Vancouver train, Kamloops BC Author: eminence_grise The westbound Banff-Lake Louise to Vancouver train is shown after its passengers disembarked for the night at Kamloops BC on May 23rd.
The train is at CN's Lorne Street station in downtown Kamloops, which is on the CN's four mile interchange to the CP main line in that city. The run from Banff to Kamloops is longer than the CN route from Jasper, and timekeeping can be challenging. On this date it was on time at 630PM, and the passengers had time to explore the town. The bus is one of a fleet of Rocky Mountaineer owned buses operated by a local charter company to shuttle guests to their hotels. |
