Canadian Railroads > MLW Monday - Crysdale, BCDate: 07/09/18 17:06 MLW Monday - Crysdale, BC Author: M-420 In May of 88 I caught BC Rail train 34 making track speed through the big sag at Crysdale, BC. On the point were M-630's 710 and 718.
You can see the remote set (ex KCC SD40-2 #RCC-736 and C-630M #701) only about 13 cars back from the leaders. This train would make a large pick up at Williams Lake, which would push the remote set to about 45 cars from the lead. Chrysdale was one of Those rare spots on BCR where the freight trains really moved a long. I had good luck at this spot over the years getting some good photos of movements in both directions. Meets here were not uncommon. Brian E Posted from Android |
