Funny how the Government is willing cough up some money to repair the line  -----  just as soon as OmniTrax has packed its bags and left town.

That may be.  The irony I was trying to point out, however, was that the Government seemed unwilling to step in and participate in any way in paying for the repairs.  They're being inconsistent.  If you're going to remain on the sidelines and not partcipate when OmniTrax is on the scene, shouldn't you, likewise, maintain that same stance when OmniTrax is no longer on the scene? 

For the sake of principle and consistency, if nothing else?

They wanted OmniTrax to actually live up to their contract.
