Nov 7, 2008 and some images from the office on BCOL 4650
images:
01 a stack of stuff, top to bottom OEM screens, CDU and radio
02 CDU for the rear end device, showing rear - front comm failure, 3152 feet dialed in and no air pressure on the rear. We may have been making a setout or pickup and cutoff from the train and the SBU has gone to sleep. By setting the oddometer I could determine the length of the cars setout or picked up and calculate the new train length. Below the CDU is the radio.
03 what it all looks like at night.

Yes it is a GE / Harris box. If I recall there was a term for the display screens. OEM ??  It's been  10 years since I've had to think of this stuff.

Onboard Equipment Monitor?  Just a guess. Thanks for the photos Doug, always find these interesting.

Original equipment manufacturer. I think SD45X is asking if it's a factory Locotrol installation, or if BCR added the equipment later. Harris equipment was usually an after market addition iirc, which would explain the question.

Oh I understand now,  yes it was factory installed DPU equipment.  GE / Harris DPU / Locotrol
