Canadian Railroads > on this dayDate: 11/10/18 01:59 on this day Author: hoggerdoug November 10, 2008. BCOL 4615 freshly painted and just doesn't look right. Two images at Prince George BC. On our train consist and other paper work showed BCOL 4615 as our lead unit, we searched on the shop track for BCOL 4615 by looking for a big red, white and blue locomotive with 4615 on the side. Eventually we discovered this imposter.
Somewhere the previous year 4615 had an incident and went away for repairs and came back painted in CN colours. I don't know if this was the first BC Rail loco to receive CN colours. Date: 11/10/18 02:03 Re: on this day Author: hoggerdoug BCOL 4615 the previous year, Dec 22, 2007, had some damage although did not look too serious unless it was worse under the hood. I heard that it had slow speed roll over in Fort Saint John, then I heard that it had hit an avalanche on the Chetwynd or Tumbler sub.
thanks for looking. Doug |
