9 for on this day
Author: hoggerdoug

Nov 17, 2008 some images.  On this day we had CN 2254 leading with BCOL 750 & 4646 trailing. We had to wait while the power was being serviced in the BC Rail loco shop south yard Prince George BC
01 2254 at the door.
02 sanding the unit, it was a painfully slow procedure with a small pipe and hose. There was a beautiful fairly new, multiple hose sanding tower outside that BC Rail had installed prior to the CN takeover. Reasons unknown, CN would not use the sand tower.
03 view inside the shop

three cab views of 2254. Forgotten the name for this computer setup and I did not get many trips with this arrangement.

What a nice series; I really like your first shot, of the beast about to be unleashed, and your second bridge shot is stunning! I don't know why it has a brassy colour, rather than the coppery look of the third bridge shot, but it's a real grabber.

Roundhouse guys probably didn't want to go out side and get wet (LOL).  At least BC rail gave the service people an inside building to do the servicing, usually, it outside.

I think the camera settings were different causing different image effect or could be the ditch lights turned off and or the headlight was dimmed.
