CPR Christmas/Holiday train (Canadian Edition)

Started it's run at Montreal West then proceded along the Lakeshore.  More people than I have ever seen, in it's 20 year history, out to watch this evening!

Always a great sight!!!

As this version (see heading CANADIAN EDITION) does not go to the US that is correct!

Was hoping to check it out at Montreal West last night, but too tough on a weeknight, especially with a sick wife and two very young kids.

It was a mob scene at Montreal West, as per the front page photo of the Montreal Gazette this morning!

The Holiday (nee Christmas) train, the whistles and pause on Armistice Day, the beaver

Do people watch it from the EXO Montreal-West passenger train platform, which requires buying and validating a ticket ?

No, mostly from parallel Broughton road, which the stage car faces (at least it did when I went last in 2015). Either way, I don't see anyone getting ticketed on such a night...

NO. Not Montreal West or any other EXO station that the trains pass through! And there are many folks at every EXO station along the routes.  I know I was at one of them last night|!

The train rolled in Hamilton, ON tonight.
Unfortunately, I couldn't be there ... but there was positive media coverage ...
