Canadian Railroads > CP Rail RS10 8560Date: 02/10/19 08:01 CP Rail RS10 8560 Author: Charls Hi all,, I have acquired the nose part of CP Rail RS10 8560 (was able to confirmed the rd#) and in the process to refurbishing it, I would like to get a good, clear 8 x 10 3/4 front view of the unit in CP Rail colors as per attached,, to hang next to it when I am done, would anyone have one, of a neg that one could be print of from, obviously will cover costs
Thanks all Charls    Date: 02/10/19 08:05 Re: CP Rail RS10 8560 Author: Charls If anyone wounder, once redone, I will stand it upright at the back of my garage and will be my tool locker, with IKEA shelving inside on the both sides, as this is the front one, it has the door to get in, I also have all the light fixtures and numberboards, class lights, etc so will ris them with LEDs and a sensor motion so when the garage door open, the lights come on... I ask my wife if I could also rig a hrn with it but I pushed my luck too far......

IIRC it was surplus from the museun in Ottawa -Trevor Date: 02/13/19 14:59 Re: CP Rail RS10 8560 Author: Charls Sorry, I was away, Trevor, said it, I work with BRS at the CMST in Ottawa and they had it for 25 years intending to display which they never did, and with the new museum and storage building being done, clean up of the backyard had to happen, , so I asked and I got in exchange for working on their Northern 6200 Now I need to find the Pantone reference number equivalent to the CP Rail Action Red used on their RS10-/18 in the 70-80's, any one out there with that information

Date: 04/14/19 16:07 Re: CP Rail RS10 8560 Author: Charls Hi all, well, with spring coming, I am getting ready for the next phase of my RS10 garage locker nose restoration, and a good friend of mine help me and restored the headlight, and clean both flag holders (unfortunatley, that beautuful brass will end up in CP action red), so coming slowly, he has to finish the class lights hardware..
