After 301 called the clear signal at Gap West, an eastbound called, "8914 East departing Gap East on a medium to clear.

I'm heading for Cochrane and can't catch up to that eastbound on the 1A so head down the TCH. Cutting back over to the 1A at Morley, the tail end of an intermodal is going over the bridge over Morley Road. It gets a medium to stop at Radnor East so goes in the siding. After a few minutes it dials up the RTC and gets told he's waiting for a 203 who is approaching Cochrane. I get to Cochrane East just in time to see the 8705 leading a mixed freight over the east switch. This has some of everything. It looks a lot like what 201s used to look like. 203 is not in the 2018 CTG. No chance for pics.

There was mention of Keith in a thread the other day so I headed there to have a look for what's there. I went by there a month or so ago and it was mostly grain cars. This time no grain cars and some other mixed stuff in storage..On the main at the west end was a Canpotex train waiting for that eastbound intermodal. The road on the north side doesn't go far enough to see Keith West so I head back east go over the tracks on 85 St and go down the south side. It only goes just past Stoney Trail but I hear another westbound coming through Brickburn (no longer a CTC siding but signals still called).

It gets a follow behind from the Canpotex train and proceeds through the Restricting siganl at Keith East. It's a gray k+s potash train

Now the intermodal. It sure looks like a 198 but that would be about 12 hours late!

The axle count at 42.0 was walked on but it's got 5 locos - 3+1+1

A quick stop up at Crowfoot for some supplies and head back west. Going past Bear Hill overpass and I can the Canpotex train in the distance.

I get ahead of it and catch it going over Morley Road

Absolutely gorgeous pictures. Really like the last one of the refrigerated containers.
