Here's a couple of pics of EDMX 1606 (SD70ACe-T4 demo unit) that departed Jasper trailing on Q111 yesterday.
2nd pic provides a somewhat closer look while waiting at Lempriere.

I guess after a little fine tuning progress rail will try to make a canadien sale of this new model.

I had the 1605 several months ago on a loaded coke train. I like it and it's comparable to out ES/ET44ACs.

The only bad thing I've heard about them is they are fuel hogs. But they have traction efforts of a 6000hp. SD90MAC.

I had one in the trail.  The lead unit did most of the work. I'm not impressed.
