MLW Monday

MLW Monday photo, posted with permission from Don Jaworski. August 1981, the location and info is vague, shows at Maple ON.  Judging by the sun angle / light it would be west bound.

Wow more RS-18s in passenger service. (see rearkas post)  Thanks Doug.

VIA No.146 (Barrie-Toronto commuter train) would have been in Maple at 07:46 every Monday-Friday morning so the light looks right for a southbound train if the photographer was standing on the east side of the track.

These cars are what were used in this service in later years.  Great photo!

With a tip of the cap to Monty Python and the Dead Parrot sketch, "Beautiful plumage!"
