Really nice shot - thanks for posting!!

I've always marveled at how EMD and Alco F-units aligned almost perfectly together - it's almost hard to tell from this angle that the second unit is an FA!  Same frame height, roof alignment, and only slightly different grille alignments. Does anyone know if this is a coincidence or not, or was there some sort of coordination or outright plagiarism by one builder or another?

Well, they are built to the same loading gauge.

Certainly an excellent photo.  Like everything about it.
The location sign is really a plus.
