GP38AC #3011 waits at Lanigan SK with a short eastbound freight, July 1977.  On a hot summer day the engineer is smart, he waits in the shade.

Love the B&W, nice exposures, great composition. I always liked the proportions on those GP38ACs, with the snowshields. This is a unit with a subtle variation carried by a large handful of various models: the 5" stripes, but small Multimark (and truncated set of stripes, unlike the 8" scheme) to fit under the radiator grilles.
