Canadian Railroads > CPR G4 Pacific 2706 paint scheme questionDate: 06/15/19 19:16 CPR G4 Pacific 2706 paint scheme question Author: Charls Hi all, anyone could confirm me if that unit and other in that specific clas had the tuscan between the gold striping, I know that it didnt have the russian gray boiler colour but not sure about the Tuscan on running board, cab and tender, I dont think it did from the pic I found but would like if someone could categorically confirm it
Most thank you Charls Date: 06/15/19 23:32 Re: CPR G4 Pacific 2706 paint scheme question Author: px320 Date: 06/16/19 05:37 Re: CPR G4 Pacific 2706 paint scheme question Author: Charls Thank you
Charls Date: 06/16/19 08:05 Re: CPR G4 Pacific 2706 paint scheme question Author: sarailfan That's the 2385, which was a G3, not a G4. Looking at the Old Time Trains website (Google "cpr g4 pacific) there's a picture of 2705 with a clear difference between the running board panel and the rest of the locomotive. I have seen a color picture of a G4 in passenger Tuscan, but can't remember which engine. So your BLI model is mostly correct, as they didn't have the light grey boiler, but did have Tuscan panels on tender and running board.
