CN had a pair of RDC-4's, 6401 is shown beside the roundhouse at Spadina yard in Toronto.  I don't think the RDC-4's went to Via Rail.

Via 6250 was an original to Via. Via 6251 was privately owned, bought back by Via and rebuilt.
Both are on the Sudbury-White River run !

My, what a seasonally-appropriate post, Phil! Seriously, that's a great slide, tough light, and an amazing accomplishment to get Spadina so deserted and forlorn.
