Some memories from March and April 1973 on the BCR Dawson Creek subdivision. A trip or two on the Dawson Switcher.

Pretty amazing stuff, the track work looks like it needs some work.

Interesting geology, still on my bucket list, hope they keep running trains in the mean time.

Track during the time of these images it was 60 pound rail, eventually upgraded with used 85 pound rail. Maximum speed was 20 mph. I don't know the current rail / ballast condition.

Neat. As said... some of those last shots almost make it look like it is a temporary railway for some construction purpose, like it is just rails in dirt.
