TH&B Tuesday
Author: hoggerdoug

Couple more images from Ron Tuff, and thanks for his permission to post.

TH&B 75 at Stoney Creek November 1980. This would be the "east local" heading to Smithville and Port Maitland

TH&B 401 near Stoney Creek, March 1979. From looking at this image I think this would be the early morning "extra east" returning westward from Welland. 401 was one of three GP9's that TH&B had. They were equipped with steam generator and geared for passenger service and ran long hood forward. The GP7's TH&B had ran short hood forward.

Great photos. I like how the TH&B identified itself on the pole holding the railroad crossing lights. You knew whose railroad this was.
