Canadian Railroads > Canadian departure from Toronto questionDate: 11/03/19 05:40 Canadian departure from Toronto question Author: inCHI I just saw the Canadian consist back into Toronto Union Station from the west side, I guess coming from the VIA coach yards. It leaves out of the east side though, right? If so do they wye the train? (power was facing West.)

Pulls out to the TMC at Mimico for servicing then backs into Union Station with the power facing west ready to head up the Newmarket Sub to the York Sub...essentially looping through Toronto.
