Just enough light
Author: loleta

With the sun low on the horizon this time of year, it can be difficult to find a patch of sunlight in the forest broad enough to fit even part of a locomotive. But here is one such patch of light and train 571, at mile 66 between Squamish and Whistler on the Squamish Sub.

You may be too modest to have mentioned it, but how accessible was this (i.e. long hike), and what sort of information did you have as to timing, i.e. how long did you wait? This is a commitment shot, beautifully realized.

Thank you! This was actually pretty easy: a 10-minute walk, and a 10-minute wait. I left Squamish a little after the train did.
