CN 9903

CN 9903 was photographed on October 12, 1988. I have Pickering Junction, Ontario as the location, but I am no longer certain.

Solid shot, but I wish the trailing M-420 was on the point!

It has to be close to Pickering based on the high tension wires in the background more than likely from Pickering Generating Station (Nuclear)

Very good...we were just talking about CN and SD50s. See hoggerdoug's post.

I thought that these were in fact -60's.  Even though their builders plates state -50's?

Well a SD50 has a EMD 645 engine in it and while a SD60 has a EMD 710 engine.
So which engine is inside these beasts?

My answer to PHall's question. Because of the hybrid nature of 9900-9903 they were designated SD50AF/SD60F. They have 16-710G3 engines.

Wouldn't that make them SD60's?
