It appears that the drailment (or at least where the cars piled up) happened at a level crossing.  Does anybody know what road that was.  I'm curious to see what is there today.

I did a google, accident happened at the intersection of Mavis Rd & Dundas St, Mississauga.  Three slides that I took, August 1980, during a "driveby" at CP Agincourt, some of the tank cars involved.

Intersting how little communication there was in 'them old days', the Fire Department official witnessed what had happened as compared to getting the call. Here's some info on a BLEVE for those interested:
