Canadian Railroads > St Lambert circa 1977Date: 11/14/19 07:41 St Lambert circa 1977 Author: briancdn The transition from CN to VIA in 1977 presented the railfan with multiple colour schemes. CN, VIA with a red CN on the nose, VIA with a red VIA on the nose, etc, etc. Throw in Amtrak's Montrealer, the occassional all RDC consists; and commuter trains, and there was never a dull moment!

Date: 11/14/19 16:20 Re: St Lambert circa 1977 Author: 4489 Great photos as usual. A small correction if I may. Dayliners was a CP moniker for RDC's. CN & VIA called theirs Railiners.
Cheers. Date: 11/14/19 20:38 Re: St Lambert circa 1977 Author: jp1822 Does anyone know who had a larger fleet of RDC's (physcial cars, not routes - although could answer that way too!) - CN or CP?
Loved the Montrealer. Sad to have seen that train been discontinued. The perfect getaway train from the Northeast to the North! Date: 11/15/19 08:16 Re: St Lambert circa 1977 Author: gaspeamtrak Boy that really brings back some memories... :):):)
