Canadian Railroads > Spending Remembrance Day with CP's Special LocomotivesDate: 11/14/19 20:05 Spending Remembrance Day with CP's Special Locomotives Author: tsokolan This November 11th (Remembrance Day in Canada) myself and a few friends gathered in Calgary to pay our respects to those how served in our nation's military, and to witness the unveiling of Five special SD70ACU's. Rebuilt from SD9043MAC's, the units were selected to wear special paint schemes that pay tribute to the different branches of the military. After the ceremonies ended and the roster shots were taken, myself and a couple of friends headed west of Calgary to intercept eastbound freight 112, with Script painted SD70ACU #7010 on the point
#1 The five Military painted units sit in the sun at CP's corporate headquarters in Calgary AB #2 At Mile 113 of CP's Laggen Subdivision, eastbound train 112 leaves the Rocky Mountains behind. #3 A broadside of the Script painted 7010 at Canmore Alberta -Trevor Edited 1 time(s).
