Dashnine through the snow.
Author: hoggerdoug

There is a song about dashing through the snow, this is Dashnine through the snow.
Couple of shots from November 30, 2006, south bound, south of Kersley BC. Kicking up snow and I recall the Conductor using some polite industrial language for me  to close the window as the cold air was freezing some of his personal anatomy.
Third image twilight sunset or the "blue hour" near mile 332.5 "MacLesse Lake Rd" on the BC Rail Prince George subdivision.

Great photos; I love the swirling snow in photo 2. It's currently a balmy -13C in Prince George.

Thanks for the photos, Doug! I am almost ready for a trip north...in May or June!

I like them all; the first two remind me of the many occasions I was relatively close to trackside with snow on the ground, and realized at the last minute what was going to envelope me as the train passed!
