Today Canadian Pacific EMD SD70ACU 6644 made her debut appearance in Ontario, serving as the Distributed Power Unit (DPU) for Vancouver, BC to Montreal, QC train no. 112. The following are a handful of photographs taken in MacTier, Ontario.

Photo 1: Canadian Pacific 6644 brings up the rear of train no. 112 as 8116 eases by on the main with Edmonton-bound no. 119, during a whiteout at MacTier, Ontario.
Photo 2: CP 6644 wears the camouflage colours applied to Royal Canadian Air Force "Spitfire" fighter planes flown at the Allied invasion of Normandy, France, on June 6, 1944.
Photo 3: Bringing up the rear of train no. 112, CP 6644 leans into a curve at MacTier, Ontario.

The stripes called " Invasion Stripes " were applied to all kinds of aircraft for quick recognition from the enemy aircraft and ground fire.
Spitfies were just one type of many!
