Canadian Railroads > Miserable Alberta Monday's-The East Way Freight at ShepardDate: 12/02/19 13:44 Miserable Alberta Monday's-The East Way Freight at Shepard Author: arwye Back in 1974 we railfanned by luck and chance, with scanner radio's and the internet, with its rapid information posting and exchange a thing we could only dream of. We'd record train numbers if we knew them, or if our subject was somewhat obvious . So on January 26th, a cruise out to Shepard found what we local fan's called "The East Way Freight", that in this photo is running westwards to Alyth, flying its one white flag of surrender to winter.
