Canadian Railroads > CN strike over. All 3 Canadians late again

Why are all three VIA Canadian's currently late? With No. 2 due into Toronto today over 8 hours down. They had been doing quite well during the past few weeks.  It couldn't possibly be because the CN strike is over. Surely there must be some other problems with the trains....maybe loco failures, cars on the tracks, people getting killed by the evil train? No, it' can't be CN's fault.

Perhaps weather related issues ??  Then again, perhaps the CN employees are not a happy bunch and are giving their 110 percent cooperation on the job.

The more things change, the more some things stay the same.  I had to chuckle reading other recent threads where some seemed to be thrilled, even giddy, that The Canadian ran many hours EARLY.  When most folks ride this train, they look forward to arriving at various locations ON TIME.  They don't want to be late but they don't want to be way early either.  How many scheduled, daytime stops were made in the middle of the night?  How many scenic views were missed, due to the trains running way ahead of schedule?  It's very poor performance if the train runs way late or way early.  It's supposed to run on time.  Just sayin.

Seems to me Anderson has a valid point!

I note that the other two chronic whiners have joined in supporting the original poster ....

While most others are simply saying "here we go again" with the crying and complaining.

Give it up guys.
