MLW Monday, an American cousin ALCO S-2 7019
Author: moonliter

Photo 1:  Traffic was pretty heavy on this Monday morning back in 1982.   S-2 7019 literally caught  in the middle of it.  Built by ALCO in 1944 and retired by CP Rail in 1984.  Regina, SK September 5, 1982.

Photo 2: 7019 now watches the traffic from at her new home at Heritage Park, Calgary, AB.  May 2, 2009

S10 pickups and Camaros...  Who Hoo!  Bring back the '80s!

Nice "then and now" comparison Gerry.  Too bad about the chain link fence.

Rather have the fence then a vandalized engine.

Actually, the Camaros rolled out of Van Nuys, CA.  I owned a couple, and while they were fun to drive, they did not last well.  Serious rust problems and door hinges that sagged well before their time.

Funny, we didn't have those problems out here in California,
oh yeah, we don't use salt on the roads out here. (Even in snow country.)

But nice of them to have a berm you can stand on to shoot over the fence!
