ONR torpedo geep
Author: EL833

I've always liked chop nose geeps, maybe that's from the healthy dose of Western Maryland ones I got to see over the years. A September 1979 trip to North Bay, Ontario yielded yet another chop nose version, this time on the Ontario Northland Railway. And I always preferred the green and yellow ONR image over the newer yellow and blue chevron scheme, but the latter fit this geep just fine. I bet it looked striking fresh out of the paint booth !

Very nice roster shot! That low nose treatment reminds me of the Milwaukee's similar chop jobs.

The modellers would be drooling over a shot like that; nice.
