Another Four Forty Friday
Author: tsokolan

gbCBNS had a good idea when he started "Four Forty Friday" so here' another example.

The daily southbound A418 freight on CN's Westlock Sub is about to duck under the Highway 2 overpass near Hondo Alberta, on November 23 2016. Normally the train would have a lash up of bigger six axle powered locomotives on the head end, but on this day four GP40-2's have escaped service in Northern Alberta to head for Edmonton.

The sepia-toned quality of the non-railroad subjects is really effective!
