Canadian Railroads > CN action on the south shore, St.Lambert, 1978Date: 01/18/20 19:29 CN action on the south shore, St.Lambert, 1978 Author: eminence_grise A busy afternoon near St.Lambert QC in December 1978, first, the intermodal I had photographed at Turcot yard passes through eastbound, then an eastbound behind a GP38 and a GP38-2W pulls out of the yard. Another eastbound passes under the signal bridge while yet another waits in the yard.
This location is difficult to access today due to highway doubling and fences along the right of way. Date: 01/18/20 19:42 Re: CN action on the south shore, St.Lambert, 1978 Author: gaspeamtrak Awesome pictures !!! Thank you for sharing !!! :):):)

Here are some contemporary views from the dome of Revelstoke Park last February. There were 14 cars total, including the baggage and transition. In late February, I would guess that it considered "low" season.
