Dirty Weather in Halifax
Author: cn6218

Normally I wouldn't go out in weather like this, but there were a few glimpses of sunshine through the clouds on Friday, and I might be suffering a bit from cabin fever.  It was cold (although not Alberta cold) and windy (but not Newfoundland windy) and 120 was hours late with a short, 4000 ft. train as they rolled out of a snow squall and onto the Moirs Mills causeway in Bedford, NS at 15:30.  The hoped for break in the clouds did not happen, but the pictures do convey the essence of the weather, at least.

You caught great views of common winter weather along with the train. Sparkling skies would give an entirely different mood.

Nice photos indeed.

Wonder how much those railfan condos in the background are going for?

Love the first shot; we know what the locos look like, but this captures the feel beautifully.
