Canadian Railroads > Miserable Alberta Monday's-Fresh Snow in April-1974Date: 02/10/20 13:43 Miserable Alberta Monday's-Fresh Snow in April-1974 Author: arwye And now for something completely different. I don't mean all that fresh snow at Calgary in April, which is par for the course. But getting late in the game were these two old gals, hangers on around Sarcee Yard for years, assigned to the industrial switching jobs or transfers and in the case of #78743 grain spotting on the Drumheller Sub. Bob Date: 02/10/20 15:21 Re: Miserable Alberta Monday's-Fresh Snow in April Author: King_Coal You didn't provide a year, but my impression was CN used these widely very late in the game befor they went all in for the Pt St Charles design. I seem to remember them on mainline trains in the early 1970's. Nice photo.
